This document is a call to action for workers across the United States, and beyond, to recognize and reclaim their collective power. We are witnessing a deliberate unraveling of civil liberties, labor rights, and democratic institutions. In the face of political inertia and corporate consolidation, our most powerful response is one forged in unity: a general strike.
But this is not only a manifesto for today, it is a blueprint for tomorrow. As automation, artificial intelligence, and digital surveillance increasingly displace human labor, the very notion of human agency is under threat. The fight is no longer just for fair wages or safe workplaces, it is for the right to shape the future, to matter in a world that threatens to render us irrelevant.
Let us also be clear: the very companies we helped build with our labor, and continue to buy from with our wages, are the ones destroying us. They profit from our work and then seek to automate us out of existence. They exploit our needs, mine our data, and leverage our dependencies while eroding our protections. We are not just cogs in their machine, we are the fuel, the product, and increasingly, the casualties.
It is almost as if they seek to build two worlds: one of endless consumption, and one of untouchable power. A world of obedient consumers, and another of invulnerable billionaires. One in which the masses are entertained, surveilled, and pacified, while the elite accumulate not just wealth, but control over reality itself. That is the world being engineered, and we must reject it.
🔥 Our Power Lies in Our Labor, and Our Presence
Our labor sustains society. Our hands grow the food, drive the trucks, teach the children, care for the sick, maintain the infrastructure, and power the economy. We, the workers, are the machine, and without our consent, the machine stops.
And even in a world where machines replace labor, our presence still matters. The systems that run on our data, our choices, and our silence still depend on us. When we withhold our participation, our compliance, our digital footprint, we still strike. We still resist.
The system will not correct itself. It is rigged to serve oligarchs, not ordinary people. The ruling class ignores protests, censors dissent, and manipulates policy to enrich itself. But what it cannot ignore is a society that no longer plays by its rules.
When we withhold our labor and our consent, we expose the myth of their power.
🛠️ Why a General Strike?
To halt fascism. The creeping authoritarianism cloaked in nationalism and corporate rhetoric must be stopped, not with words, but with economic and civil disruption.
To demand economic justice. Wages have stagnated, unions are under attack, and workers are treated as disposable. Enough.
To protect democracy. Voter suppression, judicial capture, and environmental rollbacks are eroding the very foundations of civic life.
To safeguard human agency. In the era of AI and surveillance capitalism, our autonomy is being automated away. Resistance is reclamation.
🧱 Our Strategy
We will not rely on party politics or savior candidates. This is a grassroots, bottom-up revolution of class solidarity, digital defiance, and community coordination.
Start with labor unions and essential workers. These are the pillars of daily function, when they pause, society takes notice.
Plan for material needs. Mutual aid, strike funds, and local networks must support those who risk their livelihoods.
Coordinate across sectors. Teachers, nurses, sanitation workers, transit operators, tech workers, freelancers—and yes, even those displaced by automation, we must act as one.
Disrupt the flow of capital and data. The economy cannot breathe without us. The algorithm cannot learn without us. Our collective pause is their reckoning.
⚖️ We Know the Risks
Yes, we live paycheck to paycheck. Yes, fear is real. But that is precisely why we must act. If we wait until the boot is fully pressed against our neck, we will have waited too long.
Solidarity means no one is left behind. It means we prepare together, protect each other, and build alternatives outside the system that exploits us.
🧠 Ideological Clarity
This is not left vs. right. This is people vs. power.
We are not pawns in a political chess game. We are the majority, and our compliance is the only thing keeping this unjust system afloat. The enemy is not your neighbor, it is the concentration of wealth, the corruption of government, and the commodification of human life.
Call it fascism. Call it oligarchy. Call it techno-feudalism. But don’t call it inevitable. We can end it.
📢 Our Pledge
We will shut this country down until the people are heard. We will not work for a regime that exploits, divides, and disposes of us. We will not play by rules written to keep us powerless.
We demand a future where labor is honored, not extracted. Where humanity is elevated, not erased. Where democracy is lived, not sold.
This is not a threat. It is a promise.
Strike to survive. Strike to win. Strike for all of us, now, and for generations to come.
